Happy Cubs Day

I am in disbelief with the Chicago Cubs winning their first World Series Championship since 1908. I never imagined that this day would actually happen during my lifetime.

Do you remember your first love??? I do, it was Baseball and the Chicago Cubs. Back in 1984 I was only nine years old. Our 4th grade elementary school teacher (Mrs. Marino sp??) would let us watch the end of the Cubs games if we were good and if the game started at 1:05 pm. That team played the Padres and won the first two games of a best of five series, but then lost three straight. I was devastated, but too young to know understand the curse. We made it back to the playoffs in 1989 with Andre Dawson, Mark Grace, Ryne Sandberg, Greg Maddux (to name a few) etc., but lost. Then we had the Sammy Sosa years in 1998, but lost. 2003 I thought was going to be our year for sure, but we were stunned by the Marlins (Bartman)... you get the point.

To all of my Chicago friends and clients, enjoy this day. I am glad that I got to experience this with my kids and dad.

Why would we recommend D.T.F.? Several Reasons: Your ability to explain complex estate problems, clearly and patiently; your total lack of arrogance and pretense; a strong feeling that you are motivated by what you perceive is best for your client, rather than what would generate the largest legal fees; finally, and importantly, you are a lovely guy.

Two words cannot sum up the entire process of creating my “trust.” I enjoyed your attention to detail, your patience of explaining terms and conditions until I understood, also giving me copies to read and understand. Thank you for your suggestions on what was best for “me” but still allowing me to make my choice. Most of all, thank you for thinking of “me.” Wells Fargo said “you were the best” I cannot deny that. Again thank you very much for everything. Anna is an asset or a compliment to the firm. She is warm and very caring. It was great doing business. Thank you.
